Programme of the competition:
1st Stage:
All Works are obligatory.
1. C.M.Weber - Andante e Rondo Ungarese
2. W.A.Mozart – Konzert B major KV 191 /With cadenc in the first part/ .
3. R.Schumann - Fantasiestücke , Op.73/ Without the repetition
2nd Stage:
1. G. Schreck- Sonata , Op.9
2. J.Françaix - Divertissement
3. An obligatory bassoon solo piece written for the competition. ( The winner of the composer's competition.)
3rd Stage:
C. M .Weber - Concerto F major op. 75 ( to the accompaniment of the piano)
Rules of the Competition:
1. The C.M. Weber International Bassoon Competition is organized by Polish Music Artists Association and The Karol Lipinski Academy of Music in Wroclaw. The Competition will be held from 18h to 21st November 2012.
2.The competition is open for bassoon players who were born after 18th November, 1980 and are not older than 32 years old.
3.The Competition will be held in in Theatre Chamber in the
Music Academy in Wroclaw
4.All auditions of the Competition are open to the public.
5.Applications must be sent by 30th September 2012 (the date of postmark is decisive) to the following address:

7.In order to be admitted competitors are obligated to pay entrance fee
of 200 Polish zlotys (PLN) or 75 Euro
